Effective: October 16, 2026 (previous version effective September 29, 2026)
This policy is for residents of Washington, Nevada, and other US states whose laws protect "consumer health data," including Washington's My Health My Data Act. It explains how Mauve Labs ("we," "us") handles consumer health data in DailyCumulus. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Your mood entries may be considered consumer health data because they can reveal information about your mental health. This includes your mood level, feelings, activities, notes, photos, and entry times. The fact that you use DailyCumulus, together with your account details (email, name, sign-in method), purchase records, and crash reports linked to your member ID, may also be treated as consumer health data.
From you, when you write entries, sign in, or buy Premium in the app; from your sign-in provider (Google, Naver, Kakao, or Apple) and your app store (Apple or Google) for account and purchase details; and from the app itself when it sends a crash report. We don't infer health information from other data.
To store, sync, and show your entries back to you; to manage your account and Premium purchase; and to fix crashes. We don't analyze your entries, and we don't use any of this data for advertising, profiling, research, or AI training.
You have the right to:
Consent: we collect this data only to provide the backup and features you asked for. You can stop further collection anytime by signing out or deleting your account, and you can turn off crash reports in Settings.
How to use these rights: you can delete your account in the app (Profile > Settings > Delete account), or email mauvelabs@mauvelabsinc.com with the subject "Health data request." Tell us what you'd like us to do and the email address of your DailyCumulus account. We'll verify your request and respond within 45 days (we may extend this once by another 45 days if needed, and we'll tell you if we do). Requests are free up to twice a year.
Appeals: if we deny your request, reply to our decision with the subject "Appeal." We'll respond within 45 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact your state Attorney General (Washington: atg.wa.gov/file-complaint; Nevada: ag.nv.gov).
